Step into the weight of authentic craftsmanship. The URCHIN Fine Jewellery Collection is an elite showcase of solid sterling silver unisex rings, heavy statement bands, and bespoke alternative pieces—forged entirely by hand in the UK for the visionaries who refuse to follow the herd.

My journey into the world of luxury precious metals was born out of a radical, sliding-door moment in 1989. Having worked globally as an International Fashion Model and trained as a Sculptor and Photographer, I was approached by a close friend and Jewelery designer, who had a Designer Jewelry store right off London’s iconic Carnaby Street- The Store was 'Jess James'. This Store produced in the 90s all the Jewellery for the Brand 'Stussey', and showcased the finest takent in the UK at the time.

Shifting my creative focus from life-size fine art sculptures to miniature jewelry pieces—and mastering the intricate metallurgical skills required—was a monumental, challenging transition.

But the risk forged an elite legacy. By the early 1990s, the work achieved massive success, capturing widespread UK fashion magazine press. This culminated in a brilliant design collaboration with Designer Kate Woods to launch our celebrated brand, 'Gilding the Lily'.

Together, we crafted custom collections for Miss Selfridge and Boules, and exhibited our works at the historic South Bank and All Hallows Church in London.

In 1996, during the inspiration ofthe 90s Club Scene, I launched URCHIN on the back of this successful London design career. These first hand-finished pieces and T Shirt Designs i showcased in Greenwich, at the historic Greenwich Market.

Today, that original, raw 90s archive returns alongside brand-new, cutting-edge subcultural ranges.
